We Remember

FEDORUK, Barbara
August 1, 1957 — June 21, 2025
Barbara Anna Fedoruk passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the complex pain unit at Mountain View Village care home.
She is survived by her partner, Gary Speight; son, Jason Fedoruk (Candice); grandchildren Kyle, Kayla, and Hailey; great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Auroura, Phoenix, Malachi, and Naomi; extended family Kathleen (Rick) Kucan; and best friends Pat and Tammy. She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Winnifred Ethel Fedoruk, as well as her friend Tammy Carpender.
Barbara had a love for family, thrifting, and gardening. She worked at the Lake Country CIBC Bank for many years, where she first met the love of her life, Gary. They shared a beautiful love for each other, and she enjoyed their trips to Mexico with friends and family each year.
Sadly, Barbara was diagnosed with Muscular System Atrophy back in 2018, which slowly took away her mobility and speech.
She will be laid to rest at a later date at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
I am so sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. Barbara and I met and became friends back in the early seventies when we attended Gladstone Senior Secondary in Vancouver. We lost touch when I moved away but I tracked her down a few years ago and reconnected. She will always be remembered and forever missed. Condolences to her family.
