  • Cindy and Ron Parfitt says:

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Sue’s passing. I hadn’t seen her in years but know she was still the same kind, thoughtful, generous and giving person as I knew her. My heart goes out to her family and especially Sara. Family was everything to Sue and can only imagine what a wonderful Grandma she was – just as she was a wonderful mom. I’m so sorry I can’t be at her Celebration of Life but know I am thinking of you at this very sad time. Sincerely, Cindy Parfitt (nee Metcalf)

  • Kate (Mahoney) Braden says:

So sorry to hear of your loss; it is much too soon! I remember when Jen and all of us girls used to drive your mom crazy making teenaged girl noise all hours of the night, lol. She was always so welcoming to all of us coming and going all day long. Memories I hold very close to my heart. They are together again now, Jen and your mom, they are there together watching over all of you. May you find some peace in that.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Darnell and the Addley and Feist families. Susan has joined our Lord in Heaven and is surrounded with peace and love. In time we will all join her as part of God’s family where no earthly pain and trials of this world exist only purity of love with our Heavenly Father and our brothers and sisters that have gone before us. Susan was a woman with a beautiful heart, an attitude of service and generosity I was privleged to see. She will be missed by all who loved her and never forgotten. Her trial these last few years was fought with a gentle and loving heart that showed us all her great inner strength and perseverence that is an example for all of us to live the good fight in life. God bless her and how this beautiful woman lived!

I worked with Sue for one year at Sun Signs in Edmonton. She was a very generous and kind person who showed compassion and love to all. I saw her go through her brother’s illness and unfortunate death while dealing with her own illness. The pictures of her grandchildren were proudly displayed on her desk and she loved their emails and phone calls. Sue it was a honour to have known you.
