We Remember

FENBY, Sharon Lynn

July 18, 1944 — April 17, 2013

Peacefully at Hospice House, Kelowna, BC, with her sister at her side, Sharon passed away on April 17, 2013, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Sharon leaves to mourn her loving sister Shirley; brother-in-law Dennis and her nieces and nephews who visited with her recently: Derek, Laura, Debbie, Dean, Sheila and Katherine. She was also deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her former husband Fred; dear life-long friend Marsha; numerous cherished friends, cousins, nieces and great nieces and nephews. Born, raised and resided in Winnipeg, Sharon retired first to Osoyoos, then to West Kelowna. Predeceased by her loving parents Velma and Norman Fenby; twin brother Wayne and beloved animals Koko, Muffie and Puddy-Tat. Together, Sharon and her present cat Shadow enjoyed three necessities of life: eating, sleeping and playing! Sharon was kind, generous and loved by all who knew her; her vibrant personality won her life-long friends. Many thanks for the wonderful care provided by Dr. Verster and the staff at Hospice House. A Memorial Service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Sharon’s memory to a charity of your choice. We were so sorry to hear about Sharon’s passing. Her and Fred used to be good friends of my parents Bruce and Veronica Palmer. She was the sweetest lady with the brightest smile! Her family will be in our prayers at this difficult time.
