We Remember

FISHER, Kenneth Roy
—
Kenneth Roy Fisher (Fish) passed away in Kelowna General hospital November 24, 2022 at the age of 76. Ken is survived by his wife of 44 years Debbie; daughter Kym; son-in-law Deryck; granddaughters Dayle, Shelby, and Natalie; great-grandson Asher; as well as cousins John, Rick, and Bob who some would say we’re more like brothers; and his bestfriend Judy.
Ken was an extreme intellect who held a propensity for human behaviour unlike any other. His wise words and strong nature will be forever missed and remembered always.
As he would say.. “To thine own self be true.” Carry on in the light you were meant to live.
Rest in Peace Ken until we meet again.
There will be no service per Ken’s request.

To the family and friends of Ken I’d like to offer my sincerest belated condolences on Ken’s passing.
I have been cleaning up old archived emails which led me to wonder about those times so I tried to find a way to contact my
old friend, I turned to google and came across his obituary and was shocked. Ken always seemed to me to be a a force of life with a quick wit and a willingness to go for coffee at any time. We would have many deep conversations and some on the lighter side, but none were boring.
I met Ken through his cousins Bob, Rick and John at a time when I was coming out of a teenage fog and those coffee conversations planted seeds that took time to grow. We lost touch quite a while ago but as was Ken’s nature he would appear unexpectedly and add adventure to every day life.
I will miss him and the possibility of a surprise visit, rest in peace my friend.
Richard (Rick) Carlone
