We Remember
FISHER, Urijah Len UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION
September 29, 2010 — April 10, 2026
Urijah passed away on April 10, 2026, at the young age of 15.
Urijah was here for a good time, not a long time.
He danced (and sang) like nobody was watching.
To know him was to love him.
He made magic wherever he went.
If there was a party, he was at it.
If there was cake, he would eat it.
I know in my heart (and I think most people would agree) the world is a better place because Urijah was in it.
Many people would say Urijah spent his time fighting, but I prefer to say Urijah spent his time living.
So when you remember Urijah- remember-
Have a good time cause the sun can’t shine everyday.
Urijah means “God’s flame”- and boy, did that flame shine bright.
See you among the stars our boy.
Urijah leaves his loving parents, Trinity Tompkins and Chad Fisher.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

I never really knew Urijah, but I always saw him around school. He always seemed happy, and I am deeply saddened by his loss. Even though I didn’t know him, I still wish I had a chance to say goodbye, no one should die this young, I send my condolences to the family, and I’m sure we will all remember him most fondly.
When Urijah was born, I remember his Mom, Trinity, would bring him to our soft ball games. Such a sweet boy, lots of smiles. Years later, Urijah was part of the YBC program at OBC, still a sweet boy with lots of smiles. All of us at the club remember his final Saturday with us when Urijah rattled off a 5 bagger surprising himself more than anybody. On behalf of my family, the Okanagan Bowling Community, our deepest condolences to Trinity and Urijah’s grandmother, we all mourn with you!
Yaya will always be in our hearts. So many wonderful fun moments and memories to treasure. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you, Trinity. Hugs and love from us Doris and Dave.
Urijah Was always in great spirts on the street and had such a wonderful heart so sorry for your loss.
Condolences to the family, we will be thinking of you❤️
I just heard about Uriah and my mom and I are sending condolences to your family. I went to elementary and middle school with Uriah, He was the brightest most kind and fun person to be around and lit up every single room he would walk into. Even with the amount of stuff he went through, Uriah always had a smile on his face and that’s what I loved most about him. He made everyone around him feel good and loved, and it was so special to me to have grow up with him through elementary school and see him build so many amazing connections to other classmates, teachers, and anyone he met. He truly touched everyone in his life and growing up with him in casorso was the best. In grade 6 we got to go to eagle bay, a sleep away camp with our whole grade and a few parents and teachers, and he always made anything we did so much better. I have a video (which i’ve uploaded on this but i’m not sure if it will play) of him and my grade 6 teacher Mr. Beaudry dancing on one of the nights at the camp together and how much character he had in him. I am so grateful I had the chance to get to know such an amazing kid. -Riley Harniman
