We Remember
FLEMING, Jeremy Samuel Eli
—
June 30, 1980 – May 30, 2021
Jeremy tragically passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 40.
He was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. He left Ontario 20 years ago to build a life in BC.
He is survived by his fiance Amanda Embree; parents Brad and Michelle Fleming; siblings Aimee (Travis), Jonathan, and Natalie; as well as his many extended family members.
He is predeceased by his grandparents John and Olive Farrugia, and Ron and Marie Fleming.
In Jeremy’s early years his passion was being in the kitchen with family. He then went on to culinary school receiving his red seal in French Cuisine. Later he received a degree in marketing, from there he went on to carpentry and obtained his Journeyman. Jeremy loved to work with his hands and created some beautiful masterpieces including a deck for his parents. Jeremy loved to be in nature, whether it was fishing, camping, boating, or ATV riding. He loved to dress up. He would match his hats, watches, and shoes. Jeremy especially loved his Pitbulls. The bond that he had with his dogs, especially Panther his first rescue, was unbreakable.
Jeremy was an amazing teacher. He was always patient, compassionate, and great at explaining things. He had the gift of gab.
A private service has taken place at Springfield Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Ontario at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paws it Forward Dog Rescue in Kelowna.

My deepest condolences to your family, and fiancé. I am fortunate to have known Jeremy for some time. I was his Barber. He was the most patient man! Always giving me tips, and showing me where I could improve. The conversations were always uplifting and I’d always look forward to our cuts. I am sending all the love I can. May we all live with a piece of Jeremy in our hearts.
This was very upsetting and sad for me to hear. Jeremy was a friend and although we did not see each other as often as I would have liked and only had a short time as friends, he will be greatly missed and it saddens my heart that he is no longer with us.

Thank you Michelle for your fond memories, he could be a little rascal at times, he used to love to dump all the baby powder too.
Michelle, Brad and Family; Deeply saddened to learn of your loss.
I can vividly recall Jeremy, as a precocious little guy who while I was changing Amy, quickly managed to pull quite a-bit of his Dads record collection out to stand & slide on. He looked pretty pleased with his accomplishment – little arms out, eyes sparkling & mischievous smile, It was hard not to laugh. I pray all the good memories, will bring some measure of comfort to you.
