We Remember

FLEMING, Sharon

November 21, 1948 — September 11, 2021

Sharon Fleming passed away while surrounded by family and love on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at age 72.

Born in Vancouver, BC on November 21, 1948, Sharon was raised by the late Evelyn and Vernon Eade, the middle child between two brothers. Sharon grew up to be a very special person who was humorous and loving. She loved animals and was one of those people who made it easy to get to know her. In her teen years, she played drums with the Wrennette Band and was the honoured Queen of Job’s Daughters. She met and fell in love with John Fleming, they shared 35 years of married life together. Sharron worked at, and retired from, Telus communications.

She will be sorely missed by her family: her husband John, and their children Dawnelda and James; her grandchildren Mackenzie, Logan, Maisie and Bailey; as well as by her brothers Martin Eade and Dennis Eade; and many more extended family members.

Sharon’s family would like to express their gratefulness to the Dialysis Nurses and the Nurses on 5B for their dedication and care. Sharon was on dialysis for about 7 years, and she appreciated those who helped her.

A Private Family Service will be held and ask that her friends honour each in their own way.
