Lloyd was born in Swift Current, SK on January 6, 1918, moved to Kelowna as a child, where he grew up with many fond memories. He married Mildred Blackwood in 1939 and together they ran the Pandosy Store. He served in the Air Force during World War II and spent years in Calgary, Lethbridge and Edmonton before settling back in the Kelowna and Vernon area. He worked as a salesman with Electrolux Canada for 36 years, selling door to door, at which he was very successful, consistently hitting top salesman and branch manager year after year. Lloyd always had a story for anyone who happened to pass his way and was known for his selflessness, always helping those in need. Lloyd and Mildred were foster parents for over 35 years and helped many a child get the support and love they needed. He managed to stay very busy in many projects related to business and family for the majority of his life. There will be a private family service.
