We Remember

FRIESEN, James Bruce
—
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of James Bruce Friesen on November 5, 2017 at the age of 57. Survived by his loving wife Teresa Friesen; daughters: Elishia (Jimmy) Moore, Angiel Friesen, Amanda (Marc) Turcot; sons: Eric (Collin) Friesen, Andrew (Crystal) Friesen; grandchildren: JR and RJ Moore and Payten Friesen; sisters: Lauranne (Wayne) Saffron, Linda Sehn, Sylvia (Randy) Pawluk; brother Ric (Mad) Friesen, as well as his mother Dorothy Friesen. Predeceased by his father Raymond Friesen and brother Neil Friesen.
James spent many years as a truck driver, covering many miles through Canada and the US. His first love was construction, which he shared with his family and passed down to his sons. James took great pride and joy in his family, especially little Payten, who stole his heart and filled his weekends with crackers and lego. He was taken too soon and will be missed by his entire family.

Condolences to the entire Friesen family at your sudden and unexpected loss. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.
James taught me everything I know about Canadian construction, we spent hours talking about life and our experiences whilst building to a higher standard;
He was a ‘scholar and a gent’, l will miss his honesty & integrity.
I believe that in life we all share a common goal. That is to leave something behind that others will share and pass on to their friends and family.James you have taught me so much and shared your secrets with me. I hope I make you proud when I pass them on.Never will my travels be the same knowing I won’t be meeting you for a coffee
somewhere along the road.
Rest In Peace buddy………Henry
