  • Allison Rae Mandzuk says:

To my beautiful cousin – growing up with you will always be a part of my very cherished memories. Your very vibrant personality will never be forgotten by me – you were always the most courageous, energetic, sassy and determined of the four of us on the Mandzuk side – BOLD would be a great way to describe you! Though you were only a year older than me, you seemed so much more so because of your boldness – you never left any experience unlived, untasted, unexplored. Even through great adversity, your sharp sense of humour shone through, and you lived with grace and dignity. My heart breaks that you ever had to suffer, even for a moment.
Good bye sweet Marlaina, rest easy – I will fondly cherish every bright laugh you made, every bit of mischief you helped me get into, each and every moment of our time together will be carefully remembered and shared as much as possible.
