We Remember
GASSER, Audrey Margaret
March 26, 1928 — December 27, 2023
Audrey passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 27, 2023, at the age of 95. Her passing came 7 days before her and her husband’s 77th wedding anniversary. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Irvine “Bob”; her 2 children, Lorri Gasser and Randy Gasser (Karen Busch); grandchildren, Alexis (Malcom) McLeod and Kristina Gasser (Eric Schubert); and her great-grandchildren, Theodore Schubert and Phoebe Mcleod. She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Catherine James.
Audrey was known for her fashion sense and style; her outgoing personality that made everyone feel welcome; and her vibrant zest for life. Many will remember Audrey from The A.G. Superstore (Previously A.G Discount) which her and her family ran in Rutland for 43 years. She loved to talk to all of her customers, especially the young and young at heart.
Audrey will always be in our hearts, Rest in Peace, sweet Lady. You left quite a mark on all of us who had the pleasure to know you.
A private family service will take place to honour Audrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice House.
