Antoinette (Toni) was born in Bruxelles, Manitoba November 03, 1917 and passed away peacefully May 31, 2014 in Kelowna, B.C. in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her parents Charles (1958) and Elisabeth (1989) Hacault (Lanouette), by her husband Frank (1997) and her daughter Rusti Clayton (2014). Survived by her brother Phil (Rose) Hacault, Olympia, Washington, Toni’s strength and character will be lovingly remembered by her children; Ed (Eva), Winnipeg, Man.; Veronica Schnell, Kamloops, B.C.; Larry (Roberta), Kenora, Ont. and Richard (Deborah), Comox, B.C. She leaves a cherished legacy of six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Antoinette was the middle child in a farming family of 13 children. At a young age, Toni assumed the responsibilities of caring for her younger brothers until she married Frank Goletski on June 14, 1941 in Tolstoi, Manitoba. She raised her own family of five children on a farm near Tolstoi in a community where her first language (French) was not spoken. She loved to sing and was a member and director of her local church choir and worked as a nurse’s aide in rest homes in Winnipeg, Ladner and Kelowna.
Please join the family for a Funeral Service and Mass at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church 750 Rutland Rd. Kelowna, B.C. at 11:00 on Friday, June 20, 2014. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice, the Red Cross or the Kelowna Food Bank. I am so sorry to hear that both your mom and sister have passed away. Although I have not seen any of you, except Ed and Eva, I often think of us going to #2 school and the fun we had.

With deep condolence to the family. My name is Lorraine Okapiec Antoinette Goletski was my Godmother. She was a very good hearted lady and a spiritual person. It was a great joy to see her and her son Ed,at my place on Polson Ave in Winnipeg Ave. She also visited my mom on the farm many times. Also sorry to hear the loss of her daughter.
