GOLOWIN, Victoria Pader
March 10, 1934 — September 17, 2025
Born on March 10, 1934, in Manilla, Philippines, Victoria Golowin passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC, on September 17, 2025, with her family and friends at her side.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Aurora Gonyea and Cora Reyes, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1995, and by her brother, Jesus, in 2024.
In her early thirties, Vicky made the bold move to Canada, beginning her career here right away as a Registered Nurse in Lac La Biche, AB. During these years, she met and married Walter, the love of her life. Together they built a home in Fort McMurray, AB, later settling in Grand Forks, BC. After Walter’s passing, Vicky moved to Kelowna, BC, where she created a circle of friendship that enriched her days.
For the last five years, Vicky lived at Cottonwoods Care Home (Unit E). The family is deeply grateful to the wonderful staff there, who not only tended to her needs but became dear friends; filling her days with laughter, kindness, and dignity. Thank-you.
