We Remember
GORECKI, Antonia
February 16, 1931 — August 27, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce on August 27, 2021, the passing of Antonia Gorecki (née Kozuska) – mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Invermay, Saskatchewan on February 16, 1931, Antonia moved to Winnipeg, MB where she met and married Nick Kozuska. After Nick’s passing, she moved to Kelowna, BC to live and enjoy her remaining years.
Antonia was predeceased by her loving husband Nick and youngest son David. Left to share her memories are sons Michael (Leanne) and Nick/Skip (Elizabeth); grandchildren David, Janna (Gregory), Stephen (Alyssa), Paul (Ruth), Lindsay (Steve), and Ally (Kory); great-grandchildren Emma, Natalie, Owen, Hunter, Carter, Olivia, and Finn plus many other family members.
Antonia took great pride in being an excellent homemaker, cook, gardener, and host to many Ukrainian gatherings and feasts. Her relatives will always remember her hard work and devotion to her family.
By Antonia’s request there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, please give to a charity of your choice to honour Antonia’s memory.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I remember Ann as being not only a wonderful Mom, a wonderful wife but a truly All round wonderful person. My late husband Mitch and I enjoyed many visits with Ann and Nick.
