GOULD, Frank Bowerman
July 29, 1928 — March 31, 2025
Frank Bowerman Gould passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 96, while in care at Cottonwoods Short Stay Rehabilitation.
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on July 29, 1928, Frank’s early years were spent on his grandparent’s hobby farm in Old Kildonan, Winnipeg, Manitoba, after the family relocated from Regina.
Frank led a diverse and industrious career, beginning at the Bissett Gold Mine in Manitoba, followed by work with Salisbury House and Manitoba Telephones, and culminating with many years with Imperial Oil in Winnipeg. Frank was an avid reader of science fiction, a passionate rock hound, and for several years served as president of the Kelowna Rock & Mineral Club. He was also an active member and past president of the Kelowna Reform Party of Canada.
Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia, and his five children: Sharron, Roslyn, Karla, Brad, and Mark will greatly miss him as well. He leaves behind a trail of love through his six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank Gould and Abigail Viola Bowerman; his brother, Allan Gould, and sister, Faith Chambers; and his beloved grandson Dagan Binda.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Frank’s memory.
