We Remember

GREENWOOD, Karleen Margaret

It is with great sadness the family of Karleen Greenwood announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother on May 23, 2013.  She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Malcolm.  She is survived by daughters: Bev (Cary), Sharon (Don) and Diane (Gordie); grandchildren: Kristi (Geoff), Steve, Tara, and Colin and great grandson, Bennett.

Karleen was born in Kelowna General, raised in Okanagan Center and settled in Lakeview Heights after marriage.  She was proud to have lived her whole life in the Okanagan.

Karleen enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was always busy whether with her friends or family – never wanting to miss out on anything; she was interested in everything.  Karleen will be remembered for her easy smile and her ability to make people feel comfortable.

The Celebration of Karleen’s life will be held at Westbank United Church, 3672 Brown Road, Westbank on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
