  • Anne Yanchyshyn says:

As the late Eileen’s cousin from Winnipeg, I must record how much I admired her gracious gift of being a caring hostess and homemaker. To me she embodied those endearing traits so reminiscent of her mother, my aunt. My condolences to her beloved family — they were fortunate to have had her as their mentor. God bless her — may she rest in peace.

  • Gary & Marion Podborochynski says:

Auntie Eileen was one of my favourite aunts….very kind, caring and generous. One thing I’ll remember about her is that she could knit stuff, and was she ever good at it! She could knit a sweater in no time at all. I still have the siwash sweater she knitted for me years ago when I was in high school. Our son now wears it. When visiting you were sure to be treated to a huge dessert of Okanagan strawberries with ice cream or cake or both! A wonderful host! We were all very lucky to have such a great person in our lives. Auntie Eileen will be truly missed by our family.

  • Chelsea Henry says:

I miss you every day. You have taught me so much. Thank you grandma
