We Remember

GULEVICH, Joyce

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Evelyn Gulevich, (nee Batiuk)  on February 18 2014.  Joyce was born in Mundare, AB in 1937.  In 1952 Joyce met her husband to be, Walter Gulevich.

Married in 1954, began their family together in 1955.  Walter and Joyce lived on a farm near Mundare AB, moving to Edmonton AB, Prince George BC, retiring to Peachland, BC in 1991.  Joyce was a loving mother, kind and caring.  She was always willing to give up anything but also willing to give everything.

Joyce is survived by her ever-loving husband  Walter and by her children

David (wife Joanne), Donald (wife Joanne), Valerie (husband Scott),  Denise (husband Ken),  Glen (wife Cynthia); Grandchildren Amanda, Dana, Todd, Brett, Lindsey, Ashley, Andrew, Levi, Bethany, Israel, Curtis, Spencer

Brothers:  Jim (wife Diane), Brian (wife Virginia).

We would like to say a very special thank you to the staff at Three Links Manor, where mom resided over the past four years.  They truly exemplify mom’s traits of being willing to give, kindness and caring.  Also, to Dr. Spiess for always being there.  We the family cannot be thankful enough.
