It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma. She is survived by her most beloved husband Peter of 63 years; daughter Divana Huston (and her daughter Sueann and son James, predeceased) of Edmonton, AB, daughter Darlene Paulson (Lorne) of Trail, BC (and their children Wayne of Calgary and Cheryl (Brett) of Fernie), daughter Debbie Allon (and her children Marian, David (Sandy) and Chris Scholfield) all of Calgary, daughter Donna (Bruce) Ollenberger (and their daughter Ashley of Canmore, AB); daughter Del DeGagne (predeceased and her children Jeremy (Lesley) and Mindy (Ryan) DeGagne of Cochrane AB), daughter Dalana and Terry Semenoff of Stettler, AB; son Darren and Lila Guschuk (and their daughter Courtney) of Kelowna, BC; great grandchildren: Wyatt and Cohen Mason of Fernie, BC, Jordan, Deja and Hayden Scholfield of Calgary, Tyson and Jordon McNeil of Calgary, Brayden DeGagne of Cochrane, Riley Broadley of Cochrane, Cheyanne and Chase Robertson of Canmore, AB; brothers: Mike and Nels Anderson. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9. From all of our family to yours,I send my heart felt condolences to you all at this time. She was an amazing person and loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed! Always in our hearts and never to be forgotten. Love always to all!
I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Guschuk family. I remember your mom from long time ago, as I grew up in Banff. At this very sad time in your lives, please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. In time, the pain will ease and be replaced with smiles and laughter each time you think of your dear mom and grama, for the memory of our loved ones, we will always carry in our hearts.
You are all in my thoughts at this time of sorrow for your wife, mom, gramma and great gramma. I know it’s a sad time but remember her for who she was and will always live on in your memories and mine. I love you all.
