We Remember


Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Survived by her loving husband John; her father Bill and his wife Myrtle; her brother Jim; step-daughters Joanne (Pat) and Jodi; step-son Jeff (Laurie); her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Marilyn and five grandchildren.  Joan will be greatly missed by her family in Calgary: Lois, Kristen and Jennifer, as well as her dear friend Betty of Edmonton.  Predeceased by her mother Olga.  Joan loved her time in Palm Springs and will be missed by many friends there.  No Service by request.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
