HAAS, Veronica (nee Schell)

Went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2013 at the age of 71. Survived by her loving husband Norbert, of 50 years; sons: Raymond (Brenda) and Tom; grandchildren: Jessica, Katherine and Nicole (Spencer); great grandchildren: Kaydence and Carter; one sister Agathe (Hans); brothers Josef (Marione), Karl Heinz (Renate) of Germany and Christian (Jan) of Australia; many cousins, the Schell family in Kelowna. Veronica met Norbert in 1961 and married in 1963; they have resided in Kelowna ever since. Veronica was a member of the CWL and her many activities included the outdoors, camping and fishing with family and friends. She also loved entertaining and cooking gourmet dinners. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 11:00 am at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.
