We Remember

HAFKE, Olga
November 5, 1939 — January 12, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Olga Hafke, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the age of 81.
She leaves behind her daughter Christine (Garry); her son George (Denise); grandchildren Nicholette (James), Jason, and Tiana (Stephen); and great-grandchildren Dante, Piper, and Stella. Olga was predeceased by Heinz, her loving husband of 58 years.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A private graveside service will be held for family.

I can not put in english words what i feel, so i do in german.
Vor 5 Jahren ist meine Mutter gestorben, so das ich wirklich mitfühlen kann wie es Euch jetzt geht. Ich vermisse sie bis heute.
Meine Tante Olga war eine wunderbare, angenehme und immer positive Frau. So etwas kann man nicht vergessen.
Ich bin so traurig das ich nicht mehr mit ihr sprechen konnte.
Meiner Cousine Christine und meinem Cousin George wünsche ich viel Kraft und Stärke für die Zukunft.

We would like to express our condolences to all of you for the loss of Olga. Olga and Heinz were our neighbours for many years and what a wonderful couple they were. We are so sorry Olga lost her battle but encourage you all to remember the lovely, sophisticated lady she was. May your fond memories of her be with you always.
My family send their condolence to your family. My mother Trudy Ringer and my father Josef spoke often of their trips to Hawaii with Olga and Heinz and what fun they all had together. Olga was a very special lady, very thoughtful, loving, sophisticated and always happy and a kind word all who knew her. We all enjoyed being with her at the German Club. She will be missed. Your family has an angle in heaven looking after all of you.

I just learned of your mom’s passing. My sincerest condolences to both of you and your families. My memories of your mom are few, but sweet. They always included a warm hug and a beautiful smile. I am sorry that I did not know her and both of you better. She was kind and thoughtful and lovely each time I met her. I am grateful to her for making me feel important and welcomed as a small child. I am sorry for your profound loss. Love and prayers to both of you.
