Thinking of all of you at this time of Great Loss…. she was an amazing lady, I had the honour of working with her years before. And a friend indeed… Many years went by that we did not see each other, nor talked, but whenever we met up, always a huge hug, and wise words exchanged….

So hard to say good bye to Leanne. But she lived a good life and gave us so many wonderful memories. I’m sending this picture taken on our wedding day July 30,1977. Leanne had just delivered Travis a few months earlier and she looked beautiful. Leanne had this thing about panty hose and she is displaying them grandly in this photo! At Delaine and Jason’s wedding we were all partying in Ken and Leanne’s room at the Barrhead Inn. Sitting around on the beds or whatever and all of a sudden Leanne is whipping her panty hose in the air above her head, which led to many hilarious comments and most of us going into kiniptions of laughter. Again at Marnie and Tyler’s wedding in Calgary we were assembled in a lovely tent and awaiting supper, it was blazing hot! We weren’t sitting at Ken and Leanne’s table, but I look around and somehow……she had this special talent. …Leanne had removed her pantyhose at the table and had the greatest smile on her face. I don’t think I told Mom about that and she didn’t notice. Family members correct me if I’m wrong but the lady had a thing about panty hose. I miss her so much. Love, Rita, Jill, Tess and Persi
