We Remember
HARISCH, Wolf
—
Wolf was born in Heidelberg, Germany in 1950. His family came to Canada in 1952 and moved to Calgary in 1960. He lived there until he retired with his wife, Wendy, to Kelowna, BC. Wolf was a wonderful, loving husband. He had four incredible children: Phillip, Carrie-Ann, Sherrylee (Anthony) and Kelly (Mike) whom he loved with all his heart. Wolf was blessed with 13 grandchildren: Darcy, Kail, Madisson, Zachery, Riley, Braeden, Nigel, Ashley-Anne, Hunter, Brealie, Noah, Isaiah and Annika and one great grandchild, Bryson. How he loved to tease those grandchildren!! Wolf had four brothers: Roland (Joanne), Bill (Norma), (deceased – Hank and George). He loved Wendy’s sisters, Cheryl, (deceased – Brenda, Judy and Glenda). Wolf loved downhill skiing, water skiing, bowling, curling and of course, golfing. Wolf and Wendy traveled extensively especially to get away from the cold Calgary winters. Wolf and Wendy made so many exceptional friends. Wolf loved the Lord and said many times how blessed he was in his life.

Wendy and family ,our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of your loss . God bless, Maria and Victor Sousa
Wendy, we send a hug your way, only wishing we could have been there throughout this difficult time. We have so many good memories of you and Wolf. I appreciated Wolf stepping up in leadership when we were at the Winfield Community Church. He had a great head for practical business matters, could clearly articulate his thoughts and was willing to get his hands dirty. I (Lance) remember with fondness, our golf game at Holiday Park – particularly one shot, where he “schooled” me… it was amazing – just missed a huge tree, kept the ball out of the lake and avoided the stream to land the ball on the green near the hole. He didn’t gloat, just smiled (like he was used to doing it all the time). We have really missed you guys and were saddened by Wolf’s demise. I can’t imagine how much you must miss him Wendy – we are keeping you in our prayers, especially today as you are with family and friends to remember him. May Wolf rest in peace and may you Wendy and your family know the warmth and comforting presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
