We Remember
HARTY, Domonique Danielle Vanessa
November 12, 1987 — November 30, 2023
It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Domonique Danielle Vanessa Harty on November 30, 2023. She leaves behind a broken-hearted family to mourn her: her children, Benjamin, Johnny, and Iya; mother Gladys Littlewolfe; sister Jackie Little (Paul); the fathers of her children, Scott Allen and John Simon; also, numerous friends and family. Dom was predeceased by her father, Leo Harty, and her grandparents.
Dom was born in Lloydminster, SK and spent most of her years growing up in Kelowna, BC. Dom is remembered as a cute, adorable, joyful child. She idolized her big sister Jackie and her mother. They were very close and shared a unique bond, and were known as the three Amigos, being they were inseparable.
Dom had a deep connection to Mother Nature. She fed her soul through that connection and shared this love with her children by the way of camping, hiking, fishing, beach therapy and swimming. Later, she became an avid morel mushroom hunter.
Dom took great pride in, was intrigued by, and drawn to her culture. Friends were a big part of her life and her door was always open to welcome them. She was especially resourceful and always more than willing to assist others. Dom had a flamboyant fun side that expressed itself in numerous hairstyle combinations of vibrant colours. Her sparkling eyes and infectious laugh and love of family will be forever remembered and etched in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help support Domonique’s three children are welcome.
