It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Lebnan Haymour on August 3, 2024, in Kelowna, BC.
Lebnan was devoted to his family, had a huge heart, and his appetite for his loved ones was as big as his appetite for food. He was passionate about cars, loved anything with a motor, and had a need for speed. He was also compassionate, empathetic, accepting of anyone without judgment, and always willing to help others. Lebnan’s greatest accomplishment was being Myah and Jameela’s Khaloo (uncle). He is survived by his loving parents Kassem “Sam” and Feriale “Fay” Haymour, who he loved and adored; his sister Leanne and brother-in-law Nick who always stood by his side; the two rays of sunshine in his life Jameela and Myah; and his 103-year-old Sitty (Fatima); and extended family. Lebnan will always be remembered fondly, and will be deeply missed by everyone.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior or the Kelowna BC Muslim Association (BCMA).
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 10:30 am (PDT), at Springfield Funeral Home, located at 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, Canada. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service, a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
