We Remember
HEATH, Teresa Mary (nee Filipionek)
—
Teresa passed away May 25, 2016. She was born on December 29, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta to her parents, Konstanty Filipionek and Ludwika Benko, who were immigrants from Poland and she was one of four daughters. She has two children, Amie and Jonathan. She is pre-deceased by her mother and father.
Teresa encouraged, inspired, and impacted many people throughout her life. Her heart for people and God were noticeable in her conversations. She will be remembered with great affection by her church community, friends, and family. She will be missed here on earth but will be celebrating new life in heaven.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Ripley (Lesley), her daughter, Amie Wolf, her granddaughter, Mya Ripley, and her companion Sean Patrick. Her sisters Wanda (Greg Klein), Kris (Greg Vasey) and Sylvia Tucker. Nieces, Angie, Heather, Carly and Casey and nephew Mitchell. My thoughts and prayers to all who cared for Teresa. She was a lovely woman whom I am so thankful to have known.
She so loved her children
Teresa was an amazing overcomer and it was an honor to share some of life’s journey with her.
May you all find comfort that she is at peace.
My sincerest condolences go out to all of Teresa’s family. It has been many years since I had contact with Teresa, but I thought of her often. I tried numerous times to get in touch with her, but it did not come to be. We went to St. Gabriel school together in Junior High, and she was always a kind person. I remember well her great love for her sisters.
Wishing you strength during this sad time and always.

Dear family of Teresa, I had gone to junior high school with Sylvia, and two of my family members Claire and Ralph, were in Teresa’s and Kris’s years. It can be difficult to lose a sibling. I wish you all the best.
It is with sadness that I hear of Teresa’ passing, she was such a battler. In the short time I knew her she impacted me and opened my eyes to see beyond peoples struggles and see their true heart. She will be missed. Cheers to her, heaven’s gain is our loss until we meet again.
Teresa was an overcomer , in all she did. When ever she prayed for others it was powerful. She had an amazing love for Jesus and others. I was always encouraged by her. She will be missed. Knowing that she is dancing on the streets of gold and at peace. We will see she again.
I will always remember Teresa as an anointed mighty prayer warrior and a lover of God. She held a special place in my heart, and will be greatly missed. Blessings and peace to the family during this time.

My condolences to Teresa’s family.
I worked with Teresa at Mangan Credit Union and we became good friends. We lost contact years ago after Kevin passed away.
Over the years I’ve thought about Teresa and being today I was thinking of her, being what would have been her birthday.
We had some fun times.
Again, I’m really sorry to hear this.
I wish I had contacted her years ago
