Dwayne, as time marches on and our memorys become distant, it’s nice to to remember the good. I remember your dad coaching ball with you behind the plate, some 35+years ago.

Hey guys, it’s a tough time losing a parent. Especially one as special as your dad. I enjoyed all the years working on the minor ball committee in Peachland with your dad. Ironically, with the July long weekend coming up, I mentioned the other day that traditionally there would be one rainy day. How many years did the Bronco tourney get rained out for a day? We chatted over a beer too many times probably but I always enjoyed Irv’s positive attitude. He was a good man and certainly served his community beyond the call! All good memories. I’m sorry I can’t make the service.

Irvin was my partner at work at the mill in Kelowna. He was one of the fellows that made hard work fun. His welding skills were amazing.
My condolences, Klaus

Very sorry to hear of the loss ofyour dad and grandpa. We worked as coaches when we arrived in Peachland in the early 90’s. We and all the kids and families will now be remembering his support and help as President of the Minor Ball Association. We always knew our backs were covered if there were any problems. Our deepest sypmathy to all the family.

Tomorrow will be a very special day for all the Heller families. We know Irvin held his grand-children in high regard; he did love to watch baseball particularly the “Viking” games and was never short of advice for the umps! My sincere condolences to all the family tomorrow and kindest regards, Carolyn
We never go to a ball game without thinking of Irvin. He was dedicated to promoting the youth ball teams, which we all benefited from. Irvin was “Mr. Peachland Minor Ball”.
He was a great guy, a good friend and he will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
We will all miss Irvin – his smile and quiet manner. I always admired his work/dedication with minor ball. When Irvin put on a tournament it was well run.
