John Hickey passed away surrounded by his loving family at Kelowna Hospice House, August 14, 2017 at the age of 68. He leaves behind his beloved wife Veronica, his son Evan (Jodi), daughter Erica (Mehran) and his precious grandchildren Devin, Joshua and Amilia. John’s surviving family includes his sisters Joan (Wes) and Miriam (Rick); brothers Don (Diane), David and brother-in-law Gary (Joan) along with many special nieces and nephews.
John will be remembered for his witty sense of humour and, for those who knew him best, his big heart and deep devotion to his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Springfield Funeral Home, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of John to the BC Cancer Foundation or to the Kelowna Hospice House.

John was a great friend and was always helpful and shared his vast experience and wealth of knowledge.
