HILL, Brent Mansfield
November 17, 1932 — November 27, 2020
Brent Mansfield Hill, passed away November 27, 2020, at age 88. Brent was born in Vancouver General hospital on November 17, 1932.
Brent is survived by Gladys, his wife of 63 years; sons Craig of Chilliwack, BC, Dean (Deceased 1992) and Spencer of West Kelowna, BC; grandson Benjamin Dean Woods; brother Graham (wife Liliana) of Coquitlam, BC; niece Jillian (husband Dan); nephews Jonathan (wife Jena), Christian (wife Danielle), Barbara Young (husband Bronz), Kaleigh Young, Alan Harvey (wife Norma), Tom Harvey (wife Charlene), and Aleda Staffanson (husband Chris); and other nieces & nephews, friends, and many relatives.
Raised in Williams lake, BC by Ivor and Jeannette Hill before moving to Vancouver, BC where he graduated top of his class at King George High School, Brent also served a short time in the Royal Canadian Air Force but left early due to hearing difficulties. Brent met his wife Gladys and married in 1957, they resided in Vancouver and Port Coquitlam, BC where they raised 3 Boys, Craig, Dean & Spencer. After retiring from General foods Ltd. after 35 years of service, He spent time in Hope, BC and loved to vacation at his home in Washington State. Brent was an arts lover, he loved classical music, poetry, literature as well as a good game of chess, he also enjoyed painting and learning the piano. He was a Canuck fan who never missed a game. He will be sadly missed and will forever be appreciated for the Man he always wanted to become.
A private memorial will be held later, dates to be announced. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, kidney.ca.

Could never beat him at chess and he was a crack shot with a shoe even when I was running a zigzag pattern.

You are so missed especially when it comes time to go in our RV, we had so much fun travelling all over the country US and Canada, you loved that motor home and you kept it in perfect, condition, so much of our fun life was spent travelling. Miss you Brent.
