HIPOLITO, Jay Dean
January 7, 1974 — February 24, 2026
It is with shattered hearts that we share the news of Jay Dean Hipolito’s passing on February 24th, 2026, at the age of 52.
Jay is survived by his devoted wife Lainie, his father Jesus, his brother Christopher, his sister-in-law Dawn, and a multitude of relatives. He was predeceased by his mother, Norma, who went to be with the Lord in 2025.
Jay bravely faced kidney disease and did not like to let on how much he suffered. He was known for his sharp mind, his keen sense of humour, his deep knowledge of the Church, and his compassion for animals.
Prayer Vigil will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Immaculate Conception Church (see below for address).
A Catholic Funeral Mass, with Father Cerlouie Jimenez presiding, will be held on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM (PST), at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC. A reception will be held following the service at Immaculate Conception Parish Hall.
Interment will take place after the reception at 1:15 PM, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna.
