We will always have fond memories of Uncle John. His quick wit and eagerness to debate any subject with an opposing position made family visits lively and fun. He was always competitive and whether it was 5 pin or slots, he wanted to beat you. He was unique and special and we’ll miss him.
Diane
My sympathies to you at the loss of your Dad. I have fond memories of the weekend Uncle Johnny taught me to ride your bike. It was not an easy task but I still ride a bike regularly today. I also remember always laughing when Doug and I spent time with you and your family years ago. Lara
I will miss my best friend and buddy … RIP John
Bill and Diane,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. We all have fond memories of bowling with both your Mom and Dad only a few short years ago. He will definitely leave a big void in my Dad’s life. Sending our thoughts and prayers your way.
Diane: Heartfelt sympathies with the loss of your Dad, he was a character that touched many lives. I think of your mom too; sending a hug as they rest in peace together. Love, Kim
(Great)Uncle John,
Though I was very little when I first visited your home in Kelowna, I have one memory of me and my sister jumping on your favorite recliner chair and knocking it over:)
Rest in peace.
