We often spoke with David as he strolled in the Hobson Rd. apple orchard located beside our house. He was a man of integrity and intelligence and spoke acceptingly about his illness. We admired his love for all things natural. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Dear Margaret and family,
We were so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing, and both have fond memories of Dave in his BCFGA days. He was a wonderful level headed leader who had a passion for the tree fruit industry and for what was right. He was an inspiration to us in those days. We remember his sense of humour and jokes he loved to share. Thinking of you all at this time.
Marg, Heather, Mike, Emily and Lacey there hasn’t been a day since I got the news that my thoughts have not been with you … April
Dear Margaret and Family, We were saddened to hear about Dave’s passing.
He was such a great friend and we know he was a wonderful husband and father.
Sending you lots of hugs and prayers.
Dear Margaret and family,
I am thinking of you all with a heavy heart since hearing of David’s passing. I recall all our conversations over the fence or on the road, seeing him working in the orchard on the blue tractor, and the happy sounds of little girls laughing as he drove them through the orchard on the quad… he was a part of our daily life here, and we will miss him very much.
David was a great story teller, a fighter, an optimist, a good man who loved his wife and family and lived life with joy and integrity and honour. He inspires us to do the same.
May you be comforted by God, those who love you best and the memories you carry. You are in our prayers and thoughts.
