Sorry to hear of Uncle Byron passing. Rest in peace. our thoughts and prayers are with you Susan and family always. Bruce and Carol Horlacher Gedrasik Michelle and Joey Lutz and OLIVIA. DAUGHTER SONINLAW AND GRANDDAUGHTER AND Marc Gedrasik son.
It is with both sadness and joy on hearing of Byron’s promotion to glory. Byron’s encouragement and led me to joining him on our mission to Russia in 1996. That literally changed my life as it was there that I met my wife Linda from California We had so many wonderful memories from that time . Looking forward that reunion at the great marriage supper of the Lamb. May those left in the family be encouraged by Byron’s faith to the end. Greetings from Ernie in Alberta.
Uncle Byron was much loved by his sister Maxine Gilfillan and all of her children, the Gilfillan nephews and nieces (of which I am one). I loved Byron’s strong Christian belief and remember him talking about going on a mission to spread the gospel and build a church in Bolivia. I recall the happy memories of the times whenever our family visited, he always had a barbeque in the backyard with plenty of hot dogs and doughnuts for everyone. He was a favorite Uncle of mine, and I will dearly miss him. I tried to visit with him in Kelowna, in August of this year, but unfortunately could not make the connection. Goodbye Uncle Byron, and may you rest in peace. We are comforted in knowing that you are reunited in heaven with your wonderful, loving wife Lil. From Jim in Edmonton (nephew).
Dear Susan and Family,
Please accept our sincerest condolences. We were incredibly grateful to have known Byron when he was our neighbour in Penticton. The kindest and gentlest of souls. We only found out yesterday on his birthday and are so sorry to have missed his service. When we heard, we sat and told stories, shared our memories of him, all with great fondness. We will miss him greatly and will remember him always.

Susan, so sorry for your loss. I am sure your father planted many seeds that continue to grow throughout your family.
I’m honored that God allowed our path to cross with Byron. He was a picture of God love to me.
We speak of him as we do puzzles… much missed.💐
