HOULIND, Henrietta (Effie) Mary

Henrietta was born on August 13, 1921, in Stornoway, Scotland and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the age of 94. Survived by her loving family: daughter Sharon Erickson (Don) of Kelowna; son Norman Houlind (Doreen) of Merritt; four grandchildren: Caren, Brad, Nicole, Tiffany; six great grandchildren: Braeden, Makinley, Zeke, Issac, Caleb and Aaron; brother George of Calgary; numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband Gerner in 2008.  Interment will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, after which a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, with Rev. Rueben Schmunk officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
