We Remember
IKLE, Kenneth Michael Joseph
September 10, 1951 — June 11, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Ikle after a resilient battle with cancer. Ken passed on June 11, 2019 at 5:00am at the age of 67. He went peacefully in Hospice House with family by his side.
Ken will be sorely missed by his wife, partner and best friend of over 40 years, Ann. He is survived by his father Ken Sr., mother Gladys, daughter Lindsay (Mike), son Ryan (Shauna), grandchildren Sienna, Spencer, Harlow, dogs Opie and Maggie, in-laws Ole (Sally), Erik, Randi, Arne (Anne), Roy (Karen), Lisa (Murray) and many friends and extended family near and far.
Ken’s passions were spending time and travelling with his wife, being with his children and grandchildren, wine, tequila, good food, country music, late nights, golf, cribbage, camping and the PBR.
A private celebration of his life will be held June 20, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House Kelowna. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences.”

I hurt. I have a pain that won’t go away. I remember him standing in his underwear ironing his blue jeans as guests arrived, I remember green pasta, I remember Ken’s. Sweet old time…..

I am sorry very sad to hear Ken has passed. Another angel got his wings. I remember his big smile and kind heart and a laugh that was infectious. So very sad for your loss. So very happy I had the honor of getting to know him
