I visited Hermann on Thursday Oct. 19th in the evening.
He was drawing plans sitting at his desk, looking forward to getting better.
It took us by surprise when we heard that Hermann is not with us anymore.
It was a shock to all in our family.
We can imagine how you all feel.
We send our sincere condolences to all in Hermann’s Family.
So sorry to hear of the loss of Rolf’s father. He was obviously a beautiful man that will be missed by family and community. May his life be an example to all of us.
Don and I enjoyed a lovely visit with Hermann on about Oct.18th at his home. We sat in the sun in his back patio area, his lovely garden in the background. We talked about Frieda, her life, her death, his illness, his great hopes for healing, our faith in Christ and His promises. Hermann was investing himself in the spiritual welfare of the medical personnel who served him 24 hrs. a day. He was energetic and full of faith. What a great visit we had. I am so glad God gave us this last time together. He is with Jesus and Frieda and so many more of the brethren. May his life and faith inspire all of us to lay aside our small ambitions and live for Him alone. May the God of all comfort be so near to you all as you grieve the loss of dear Hermann.
