Our family was saddened to hear that RCJ had passed away. He owned the company(Jacobsen GM) that kept me employed & helped us live in Kelowna & raise our daughter from 1994 to present. Our family owes him a debt of gratitude for providing that place to work & allow us to live well. We will remember the entire family in our prayers.
On behalf of the people who to this day still work @ Bannister GM (formerly Jacobsen Pontiac) I pass along our sincere condolences to Muriel, Rhonda, Shayne & ALL the Jacobsen Family. There are many people who still work @ our store that were there when he was “In the BIG chair” . We will ALL miss Ron. It was an honor to work with him & we Thank him for providing us a place to come to every day.
Muriel, Rhonda and Shayne – so sorry to here of Ron’s passing, it was my good fortune to work at Jacobsen’s for 20 years. I had great respect and admiration for his devotion to family, and business. Our thoughts are with you during these sad times. Laurie and Jerry Takeda
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during the coming days and weeks.
Dear Muriel and family, Harry and Kathy Mertin send our sincere condolences. I had known Ron for over 38 years. He was a man and a Dealer that I greatly admired and respected throughout the nearly 4 decades we were GM Dealers together. Indeed when I became a Dealer I so often looked to emulate and learn from Ron, be it business practice, integrity, community service or employee engagement and management. I will always respect Ron and I will long appreciate him. Our very best to you and your family Muriel.
Very sad news. Thankful we had a visit with Muriel and Ron in Palm Springs back in February. Prince George reunions aren’t going to be the same without the Jacobsens there.
Our thoughts are with the family and know the love surrounding you from your many friends.
To Shayne and Family,
The Humphreys’ family in Edmonton are saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. Our prayers are with you.

Muriel, Rhonda and Shayne… so very sorry on the loss of your husband and father Ron. I have so many childhood memories of our visits to Kelowna. Playing games on your Sundeck and visiting the lakes in and around Kelowna. My dad’s favorite story to tell is how he met Ron and Don. The three of them throwing rocks at each other on the schoolyard 70 something years ago. After many bruises and tears they became best friends. How amazing is it to say that you had a friendship for that many years. Ron will be missed and remembered. Sincerely the Burden Family.
So sorry Muriel, many happy memories of you both and my thoughts are with you all.
My deepest condolences.

Sincerest condolences to Muriel, Shayne, Rhonda & the rest of the family from the Christians. Really liked Jake, great guy beneath that gruff exterior. Actually got a hug from him when I ran into him a few weeks ago-LOL. Down in Phoenix right now so unable to attend the service but thoughts are with you.

So sad to hear of Ron’s death. Our hearts grieve along with friends and family. There is comfort and hope in what Revelation 21:4 says “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Also John 5:28 “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth;” What a happy time that will be when death will be replaced with resurrections and Ron will live again. Although these thoughts do not take away the grief at present; may Gods Word be a source of comfort for you and your family.
Condolences from the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Board of Directors. May your memories bring your family peace during this time.
