We Remember
JAGIELAK, Robert “Bob”
May 15, 1953 — October 7, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Jagielak after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at Hospice House with family by his side and surrounded by love.
Bob had a zest for life and loved to travel with his wife Jill, and their friends. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Bob was an outgoing and compassionate person who always saw the best in everyone. He was a self-taught guru on everything related to computer, audiovisual and automotive tech, and would talk your ear off at every opportunity, preferably over a dram of a cherished single malt scotch.
Bob spent most of his career in Pharmacological Sales across Canada. His outgoing personality and love of personal connections served him well; even after he retired in 2013. In 2016, Bob and Jill moved to Kelowna, BC and cherished the community of friends that were made here.
Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jill Boulton; their two children Chris and Erin Jagielak; his sister Helen Rae; brother-in-law Nigel (Kim) Boulton; dear cousin John (Leah) Gotthardt; parents-in-law John and Joan Boulton; three nieces Michelle, Danielle, and Regan; and nephew Matt. He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends across Canada and England.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Lou and Lucy Jagielak.
The family would like to thank our friends and colleagues at Kelowna General Hospital and the staff at Hospice House for their loving compassion and care during Bob’s short illness.
There will be a Celebration of Life to honour Bob on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, between 5:00 – 8:00, at the Manteo Waterfront Hotel & Villas, 3762 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna, BC. Due to current restrictions, attendance will be limited and restricted to vaccinated only. Please contact Jill at jilleboulton@gmail.com if you would like to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House or the Terry Fox Research Foundation.

Bob and I worked together at Bayer. He and his family lived near us briefly yet in this time, I felt very connected. Perhaps that was his gift; making people feel valued and Appreciated To his family, I’m sorry for your huge loss.

Dear Jill and Family, i helped train Bob in Anesrhesia products at Baxter in 2007/2008. What a great guy. Bob and I had many conversations after I left for another company. I have missed Bob and sorry we did not stay more connected. Ill dedicate this Christmas to Bob’s Memory. He was a gentle giant who appreciated and highly respected the career sales rep. God Bless Bob!
