We Remember
JEANSON, Madeleine
March 21, 1926 — December 16, 2022
Madeleine Jeanson passed away peacefully on December 16, 2022, in Kelowna, BC.
She is survived by her son John Brunner, his wife Catherine Roberts, and brother Louis Auriat. She was sadly predeceased by her husband J.P. Jeanson, nine brothers, and one sister.
Madeleine was born in Saint-Front, SK. She was a teacher, and owned and operated a floor-covering store in Vanderhoof, BC, with her husband J.P. for many years. She lived in Saudi Arabia and travelled the world. She loved her bridge group in Peachland, and really settled into her care home at Brandt’s Creek Mews where she received such excellent and loving care from the staff.
At Madeleine’s request there will be no service.

Sad to hear about the passing of Madeleine, She was Andy’s big sister. They spent time on the phone talking about the old days and life in St Front. We enjoyed our visits with her. Rest in peace. Loraine Auriat
Madeleine’s passing away was a devastating blow to me.. I always had a close relation to her, and she was my saviour on memorable occasions, notably when I was 4 yrs. old and she brought me in her arms to he house with my broken leg, and when at the age of 7, she brought me when I collapsed on the way home from school. I miss so much her boisterous sense of humour and her decency and her cool judgment. I will miss so much the opportunity to share souvenirs of our childhood on that farm in Saskatchewan. I will miss you but I will never forget you.
