We will greatly miss Nada. I loved talking and sharing with her. It’s the first Christmas in 15 years without her baking, nothing compares. She could always make my day brighter. I was blessed to be a part of her care.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I was friends with Wendy at Casorso Elementary and would be invited to their house for lunch. Mrs. Jelinic always had amazing food and time for us children. It is a cherished childhood memory of mine.
We are saddened to hear about the passing of Nada. Our deepest sympathies, prayers and thoughts are with Ivan and Family. She made me feel welcomed when I rented their apartment in 2000, having recently arrived from Calgary. Yes, her lovely cooking and baking will be remembered! I met Nada, Ivan and the ‘kids’ many years ago. Our respective families were on holidays in Croatia. Nada is my mother Zlatas cousin. I didn’t know her well but I remember meeting a dignified lady whom I regret not getting to know better. She has clearly left a legacy of love in those she touched. Our deepest sympathies to Ivan, Gordon, Anita, Wendy and families. Sonja Bouillaut and Zlata Misic – Australia

Ivan, Gord, Anita and Wendy, so sorry to hear of Nada’s passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I know all to well what it is like to lose a parent.
I can’t believe that it has been almost 30 years since I have seen any of you. I wish you and your family all the best and my thoughts are with you this holiday season.
Dear Ivan, Gordon, Anita, Wendy, it is with great sadness that I am sending my sincerest condolences! I only just found out today of dear Nada’s passing and although I never met her face to face, I spoke to her many times on the phone from Australia and truly felt a connection with her and could feel that she was a special person, just as so many others have expressed. My father (Ivan Devcic) and I had hoped to make a trip to Kelowna, but unfortunately his health took a turn for the worse in the past two years and he passed away in June this year!
Teta Nada is at peace now and in no more pain and we are all left with great sadness in our hearts!
May dear God grant you peace with the knowledge that she was much loved and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace. Irena, Tomislav, Luka and Amalija Olic – Australia
