We Remember
Jones, Suzette
February 11, 1969 — January 21, 2012
It is with great sadness the families of Suzette Marie Fernande Jones announce her passing on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Her final days were spent at the Central Okanagan Hospice House in Kelowna, BC. She left us at the early and unexpected age of 42. Survived by her loving husband Kelly Jones, daughter Jessica, parents Eldon and Fern Amyotte, all of Kelowna, nieces Sara and Kaitlyn of Terrace. Sadly predeceased by her brother Dan Amyotte. Suzette was born in Terrace, BC on February 11, 1969. She lived in various areas on Queen Charlotte Islands, Terrace, Vancouver and finally resided in Kelowna. She worked in areas of banking, accounting, reception and massage therapy. Her most notable success was her home-based Massage/Spa Treatment facility in Terrace. She raised her daughter to a very successful nine years old and will be very missed by her. Suzette volunteered time at the BC Cancer Agency, Shannon Lake Elementary and various kids’ sports clubs and events. She enjoyed Tai Chi, volunteering and especially time spent with her daughter giggling, laughing and teaching. The family wishes to express a very heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Central Okanagan Hospice House who provided first class loving care in her final days. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Pastor John Stutters officiating.
