It is with great sadness to announce, Kannika Kamlapit “May” passed away suddenly at Kelowna General Hospital on July 27, 2020. May is survived by her husband David, daughters Beam and Monica, son Tyler, stepson Dayton, mother Sawalak, father Pathai, sister Fone, brothers Joe and Wongsakorn, sister-in-law, Lynette, and grandson Jaxon. May had a large extended family in Kelowna; always keeping in contact and keeping everyone connected; always reaching out and available to all of her friends and family.
May was known by everyone as a selfless, devoted and beloved wife, mother and friend. May was a connector of people and was very highly respected and admired by everyone she knew. May was always happy and exuded vivacious energy. She touched everyone’s hearts. An extremely talented chef who spoke 5 languages, she will be so incredibly missed. Words cannot express the deepest condolences to all of her family and friends. Her spirit will be remembered in everyone’s hearts. May she Rest in Peace.
A Service will be held at Springfield Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the service is by invitation only but will be available via Livestream and will also be available to view for up to 3 months. Also due to COVID-19, the invite-only reception will be held at Thai Terrace.

Dear Dave, June and I are heart broken over your loss of your beautiful and amazing wife May. Unfortunately we cannot attend the Celebration of Life to share with you and your family the loss of someone who touched all those that know her. May was an incredible lady, devoted wife and mother. She will be sorely missed and we want you to know that if there is anything we can do for you and your family, please feel free to ask.

It is deep regret that I send my deep condolences to the entire family and may she Rest In Peace. I was fortunate to speak with her a few times and David shared so much love in our many conversations about her. All have lost a very special woman. May her memories always stay in your heats.
