Dear Katzmann family,
with dismay and deep sadness I read your message. I felt deeply connected to Gerda: home country, memories and many similarities, like her love for animals. Gerda’s picture – many, many thanks for that – will find a place directly next to that of her husband and many other, treasured memories.
As you already know, a deep friendship connected our grand-mothers and our parents already. Therefore I felt very close to Gerda all the time.
Dear family Katzmann, my deepest sympathies to you and the members of your family. I will always remember fondly past times and Gerda.
Best Regards – Waltraud Gerwert (from Germany)
