We Remember
KENDAL, Elizabeth J.
March 8, 1934 — May 8, 2017
Surrounded by family and friends, Elizabeth passed away in her home at Okanagan Centre following a 2 year battle with cancer. Right to the end, she was letting us know how things should be done – her way.
She is survived by her husband Ron; son Kyle and beloved dog, Kyffin.
Elizabeth was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on March 8, 1934. She also lived in Sioux Look Out, Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Edmonton, Alberta before moving to the beautiful Okanagan.
Her favorite pastimes were reading, gardening, sewing club and camping with friends.
A sincere thanks for the patience and kindness shown to Elizabeth by Dr. Ellard and her team, including the staff in the chemo department at the cancer centre in Kelowna.
To quote Elizabeth: It had been one heck of a ride! Bottoms up.
No service by request. In Elizabeth’s honour, donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3

Words seem inadequate for the loss and sadness we feel in the passing of Elizabeth. We have so many happy memories of times spent with her and will always treasure them. Please know that we are only a phone call away.
We are sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. We send you our love.
We were so sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. She was such a good friend to me when we first moved to Casa Loma. I always loved having coffee with her and I know I often took up more of her time than I should have!! Our family missed the Kendal family when you moved…you were always coming to our rescue in our first years in Casa Loma! I know your memories of Beth will help you through this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
