Dear Gabe (and family); Mary Lynn and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to a man who we have never met, but respect greatly because of the daughter that we know very well. Your Dad’s eyes and smile in the obituary photo depict the wisdom & sense of humour that we see in you. May God Bless him in heaven with peace and may those left behind smile and remember the laughter and wisdom! Steve & Mary Lynn.
I met your parents when they moved to kelowna. I really enjoyed them. Your fathers garden was beautiful and he shared vegetables with us. I babysat the dog. Your mother enjoyed her crafts and we loved to bargain hunt together. We had the most memorable trip to Reno and laughed the whole time. The love for their children was insurmountable…they always talked about you all”…feel as if I know you all even. though we ever met. I shall miss them and If you would likeapicture of them taken while we were eating one of your mom’s cakes, please forward your email.
Your mom and dad would do anything to help

We were so sorry to hear of Fern’s passing. I met both Fern and Chris on several occasions on ski trips out west with Ray and Glynis. They were always extremely generous hosts. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I work at Mission Creek Park and got to know Fern through his regular visits. I hadn’t seen him for a while and didn’t hear about his passing until recently. His visits were always welcome and we had some interesting conversations about his hobbies, family and life adventures. He obviously loved his family greatly as he talked about you all very often. His passion for gardening led him to sneak seeds into our garden, although we all knew he was doing it. I’m sure he will be greatly missed.
take sir, we will miss you at the barber shop
Carmel, I`m so sorry. My thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow. Sincerely, Corey McDaniel, now living in Acton, ON
