Our dear mother, Katherine Klein, passed away December 13, 2013 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 87. She is survived by her children, Jim (Muff), Brian (Grace), Eileen (Ron), and Chris; grandchildren, Trisha (Brad), Graeme (Jessica), Brandon, Torey (Carol), Robyn (Tyke), and Casey; sister Gina Yarrow; brother Nick Alimonti; and great grandchildren, Cole, Everett, Paige and Travis. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Addy, special friend Vic Stewart, grandson Brett, and brother in law, Max Yarrow. Kay lived on her property in the Ellison District for 64 years. She loved her space in the country, and had only recently moved to Chatsworth Retirement Residence. Kay will be sadly missed by all of her family, and all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC & Yukon Heart and Stroke Foundation, 4 – 1551 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9, will be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Kay’s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Kelowna Springs Golf Club, 480 Penno Road, Kelowna.
