We Remember
KLITGAARD, Rose (Bajer)
—
Rose was surrounded by family when she peacefully passed at the age of ninety-one on June 1, 2022. She was born in Faust AB. into a large Polish family of seven sisters; Helena, Gina, Nellie, Gladys, Jenny, Sophie and Vangie and five brothers; Edward, Chester, Edward, Martin and Ted. She was the mother of two daughters, Linda Byrne (deceased) and Nancy Wilson (Clarke). She had three grandchildren; Breanne Byrne, Jaclyn Wilson (Mike), Jordan Wilson (Jenna),and one great-grandson Liam Wilson. She had twenty-four nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Rose was a stylish woman with a lot of class. She was well known for her ability to keep clothes “rinso” white.
She had strong Polish roots and made the best pierogies. A family gathering would not be complete without them, she could make the dough just right.
Rose was an independent and loving woman with a strong spirit. She was a hard-working single mother when it was not the norm.
She loved our large family gatherings where there was a lot of singing and dancing. She was fun and always ready to join her siblings in song. Harmonizing was the heart of the Bajer ensemble.
She was the first to the dance floor and loved to dance a waltz or a polka but the jive really put a twinkle in her eye.
She will be missed.

I knew Rose as a neighbor and a friend. She was a delightful woman always the ipideme of a lady. Rose was such a friendly person she made everyone she spoke to feel at ease. Rose was always optimistic, and considerate, thoughtful and kind. It was a joy to have known her and a pleasure and an honor to have called her a friend. I will never forget her and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
My deepest condolences to all of Rose’s family and friends.
