Please accept my sincere condolences on Neil’s untimely passing. I have very fond memories of Neil from the the late ’70’s in Edmonton, as well as from the time that he managed our shop up in Grande Prairie. Always kind, polite and with a good head on his shoulders, Neil was a real gentleman. His talent for painting and making jewelry was something to marvel at. And his fly-fishing technique! Blessed with talents, Neil’s passing is a profound loss to all who loved him. Neil, may you rest peacefully in the embrace of your Creator.
We were foolish once and young
Shared laughs, friendship, grief and joy
Formed bonds with friends that would endure forever
Now but to reminisce the times gone by
And see you again in the tearing of my eye
Farewell dear friend, God Bless, Adieu
Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to all of his family and dear friends. We wish you all comfort at this very sad time. We have many fond memories of Neil. We will all miss him even though we did not see him often in recent years. With love from Aunty Verna and all of the Kolasa family.
Neil filled the time we shared with him always with kindness and his great sense of humor.
Great artist, great adventurist, a great friend and exceptional human being, There will be a chair at our table for every dinner and nice conversation that will be always empty and irreplaceable.
Our heart stays with the Kolack’s family, honoring together our dear friend Neil.
This is very shocking and Trudy and I are saddened to hear of Neil’s sudden passing. Neil and I were classmates in grade 1 at St. Bernadette Elementary school in Edmonton and friends ever since. Neil was was a unique one of a kind guy, -the best kind. We will miss him.
