We Remember
KOMAREVICH, Agnes
April 24, 1934 — February 15, 2021
Born on April 24, 1934, in Fernie, BC, Agnes Komarevich passed away peacefully at the Kelowna Hospice House on February 15, 2021, at the age of 86.
Born and raised in Fernie, Agnes also met and married her husband William there, and together they raised their son in Allan in Fernie. Agnes was employed at the CIBC and was also a wonderful homemaker; her home was a welcoming and warm one. It wasn’t until 2001, following William’s passing, that Agnes moved to Kelowna. She then met Sepp Braun, and they became companions, they had many good years together until his passing in 2017.
She is survived by her son Allan (Kim) Komarevich of Fernie, BC and was predeceased by her husband William Komarevich and her sister Maureen.
Due to the pandemic, a private family service will be held for Agnes, family and friends who cannot attend will honour her each in their own way. In keeping with Agnes’ wish to be buried near William, she will be laid to rest at St Margaret’s Cemetery in Fernie, BC.

We have known Agnes since we moved into SandPointe several years ago, she was very kind & caring, always had a smile.
We work at the Glenmore Pharmasave and had many great conversations with Agnes about swimming and hiking and just enjoying our beautiful outdoors in BC. We will miss her smile and stories, we called her Gramma and she loved it❤️ Condolences to the family on the loss of a truly wonderful woman!
I am very sorry for your loss and wish your family strength during this difficult time.
